Oculus VisionTech through its brand, ComplyTrust announced Shopify connector support in the latest release of the “Forget-Me-Yes®” (FMY) data privacy solution.
This may sound esoteric for our readers, but you must understand that Oculus is basically a software company and an emerging data compliance innovator, and their latest announcement means that Shopify will use proprietary “Forget-Me-Yes®” software-as-a-service.
More precisely, the Shopify eCommerce platform customer base will have access to connect and query Shopify eCommerce databases. Here’s from the presser:
We are pleased to announce that FMY’s new multi-connector functionality now incorporates a Shopify query feature. Enterprise organizations can now cost-effectively streamline DSAR processing with a single request query across both Shopify and Salesforce org databases concurrently.”
said Michael Johnson, co-founder at ComplyTrust, a brand of Oculus VisionTech Inc. that makes Software-as-a-Service applications for organizational Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) Right-to-be-Forgotten (RtbF) and Right-of-Erase (RoE) data privacy compliance.
FMY uses the global AWS (Amazon Web Services) infrastructure to operate globally, just like CIA/FBI/etc. (not kidding) and provides a cost-effective, elastic, resilient, scalable and secure platform for CCPA/CPRA (California), CDPA (Virginia), CPA (Colorado), GDPR (Europe) and LGPD (Brazil) data subject privacy compliance management.
You can use FMY’s cloud-native microservice architecture on a monthly subscription-basis for cost-effective, automated DSAR structured data query processing across multiple organizational databases, and here’s from the presser again:
“Protecting both our clients and their customers in this new age of data privacy, is a critical component of our customized service offerings. The new FMY Shopify connector release will enable us to re-engage and offer an easy-to-use DSAR delete workflow process to both our current US and international Shopify clients.”
